A process that’s little different to how historical farmers have developed new crops for eons. Mussels were repeatedly bred to create signature Honey Mussel™ characteristics.
Every year our mussels are selectively bred to improve characteristics like size and flavour. The Honey Mussel™ was developed on our farm, and with our other partners. We are proud to have created this one of kind strain of mussel.
